Nashville, TN (4-25-2012) – Wellness Solutions employees gathered at Maggiano’s on West End in Nashville for dinner and program as guests of host Dr. Shelton, a prominent psychiatrist from Kentucky. An informative presentation was given by Dr. Shelton explaining available treatment for benefits for patients suffering from pseudobulbar affect (PBA), a condition that may occur when certain neurologic diseases or injuries damage the areas of the brain that control normal expression of emotion.

“It is important for us as a company to gather at least twice a year to connect and enjoy our collective professional achievements.  We are able to communicate one-on-one at these meetings and to re-evaluate how we may continue to effectively serve the needs of our patients while achieving the goals of our company,” stated Steven Scesa, vice president of Wellness Solutions.

Jason M. Tallman, PMHNP, BC – Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – oversees all mental health patient services and medication management for Wellness Solutions in Murfreesboro.  Jason is a 2007 graduate of Vanderbilt University’s psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner program and has extensive experience providing inpatient and outpatient services for clients of all ages.
